Free.. I`ve since read that wet/dry filtration is old& .. I believe the pond is about 1800-2000 gals.You have probably heard it said many times that bio balls which are used in Wet/Dry Trickle filters are "nitrate factories" or that someone`s bio balls have "gone bad".3/4 of a 5g left.How often have you read postings or email from aquarists who complain about their bio-balls going bad? The quickest and most often suggested solution we see to this problem is to, get rid of the bio-balls, now!! This is& .Yep bio balls Some people have luck with them, but they clean them out regularly.I dont want to mess around having to constantly change the carbon bits in there, im pretty sure i can, but i just want confirmation that i can swap out the carbon and add some bio balls or ceramic rings instead? These are great to keep the noise and splash down in the drain section....i have been hearing a lot that the bioballs on a biocube are bad to keep and i should take them out fast. Free.. I`ve since read that wet/dry filtration is old& .
