Bio Balls Free.. I`ve since read that wet/dry filtration is old& .. I believe the pond is about 1800-2000 gals.You have probably heard it said many times that bio balls which are used in Wet/Dry Trickle filters are "nitrate factories" or that someone`s bio balls have "gone bad".3/4 of a 5g left.How often have you read postings or email from aquarists who complain about their bio-balls going bad? The quickest and most often suggested solution we see to this problem is to, get rid of the bio-balls, now!!
